The Constitution, Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 6, says in a Case of the Removal of the President from Office, then as the case may be, a President shall be elected. A President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on an Inability to discharge their Powers and Duties on Impeachment for removal.
There is a way to impeach a president then elect another president. Inability is a physical handicap but could include incompetence. A president is a servant, nothing more, and if being incompetent is not helping, removal should happen today or tomorrow, or anytime between elections.
